I just finished When the English Fall by David Williams, and wow! This is a great read for anyone who is into apocalypse scenarios.
When a massive sun storm wipes out everything electronic around theworld, it has little impact on Jacob’s Amish community. The only inconvenience his family deals with is a dead generator that they use only to power their washing machine. But as the situation deteriorates for Jacob’s “English” neighbors, violence creeps into the Amish community, forcing these peaceful people into choosing between protecting themselves and remaining nonviolent in the face of an imminent threat to their lives.
